Hello,

Has anyone found the windshield of their Liberty to be prone to chipping even from what seems the smallest of debris? My glass was speckled within the first couple thousands of miles - now at 12k, there are noticeable divots and a half bulls-eye present.

Please keep in mind that I have not gone off-road yet, and many of the hits where on roads travelling under 35mph.

Thank you

I've noticed that with a number of new cars of mine and friends. It's like all the manufacturers are using cheap glass or something.

less than 3 months after I bought my KJ, I had to have the windshield replaced.. about 2 months ago I had a chip repaired..

This is following almost exactly the same time frame as the replacement and repairs were done on my '94 Wrangler's windshield..

So they have been using cheap glass for a while now..:):bang: :)

Thanks, guys.

I noticed online a number of people noting similar complaints with a number of manufacturers.
