The seat belt on my 95 YJ has seen better days. I am looking to replace it. I really hate the sholder strap and would like to get a lap belt. I did a few searches but didn't find much, anyone have any seat belt replacement ideas? Aftermarket brands, write-ups anything.

Thanks,

Cooch

I think that you should stick with a three point belt. Safer than just a lap belt.

Here is a number for company making a three point belt that was designed for offroad use as well as street use.

505-334-1141
505-324-0153 (fax)

Do you have anymore info on the company? I tried calling but was having trouble getting through.

Thanks

Those are the only numbers I've got. Here is their address.

All-Wheel-Drive, Inc.

Hope that helps.

Good luck.

If they're like most small shops, they'll probably be closed during the weekend. I'd try again Monday. Same story with Bob Supplee. :(

Might want to check out your local laws also, I'm know there are some federal laws about "going backward" with safety/pollution controls. If it came with lap/shoulder combination from the factory you may need it for inspection.
