Anyone ever find themselves doing city offroadin' just to get strange looks from other people or just because you can? For instance- Driving over a median in a parking lot instead of driving all the way around to get out, etc?? Just me?? hehe. I love the looks when instead of backing up, I just drive over the cement thingy in the parking lot and go straight ahead. Oh well, gotta get my kicks somehow...:)

Count me in, I was once ticketed for "illeagle passing over curbing", in a 'Yota 4x4.

We've got a section of road closed from the earthquake on February 28. The pictures look like a good Jeep trail, but they won't let us in. Spoil sports!

Everytime it snow, they plow the snow into piles in the first parking space at Wal-mart. I park on top of the piles.

Yep. Construction sites too make good places to play. :)

I like to drive on the mounds of snow at parking lots too. The bigger the hill, the better the parking. :)

I love when it snows, best parking you can get!
Sometimes I drive over the cement block in my parking space so that a friend can share the spot with me. My jeep barely takes up half the parking spot.

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who does it! I love the looks that some people give you. They are just jealous that their little sport-ute can't do it!

i did an illegal u-turn in the SONIC parking lot during a show and shine????
I do the median jumping too. At my daughters school they have a bunch of rocks in a median dividing the parking lot from the school bus drop off area. I've been chased off those rocks by the Vice-Principal more than once (I just like to see her get her panties in a bundle!!). The church behind my house put up chains so we couldn't drive through their parking lot to get out onto the main st. so I am more than happy to leave trax over their grass filled medians and watch the grumpy old ladies :cuss: :cuss: me out. Hey I feel the golden rule applies, (It is a church after all) they piss me off by chaining me out, therefor I piss them off by driving around their chains.

I am constantly clipping curbs, taking shortcuts across things, etc. Most of these thing people look at us like we are nuts for are nothing compared to going off-road.

Snow piles are great! If it did not snow, it's very difficult to find a no-charge parking lot in the streets around my university, but if it snows, those free-of-charge parking spaces are the first ones to be filled with the snow from the pay-zones. Guess where I park  :P

I'm glad to hear that other people do it too. It is quite far sometimes to go all the way around the grassy medians at malls.
Even if the snow banks aren't close, if the parking lot is full I'll park there, I am nice enough to let my wife out before I dive up it though. She thinks it's fun when we do it!
