Tommy, my mother was born in central Sweden in the Arbra/Juesdal area . Just to stay OT she did not have a Jeep. Mor sa bra, John V.

This is getting weird! First I find another ILJ member born on the same day as me, then this...

John, do you still have any connections to Sweden? If you ever come over here, please look me up. I live about 60 miles north-east of Ljusdal now.

Tommy, the Forum email function is not working yet so sorry about the OT. I've not been to Sweden but plan to get there some day! If you ever get this way be sure to look me up also. The Sand dunes will be different than the snow drifts. Regards, John V.

I hope you'll be able to come over here to see your mother's homeland. This part of the country is very beautiful, in my most impartial opinion :)

Tommy, we are in Sunny San Diego California, close to Baja, Anza borrego, Death Valley and The Mojave Desert. I think you'd enjoy Jeeping here but believe it or not I love getting vehicles sideways in the ice and snow!

Are you sure that last name isn't Snygg? There are quite a few of those in that area. BTW, 'snygg' means 'good-looking' :) I've got a friend by that name, who is from those parts.

I'd love to visit California. Some friends were in Death Valley last year, and it sounds awesome.
