I just installed a 2.5" Superlift (got 3"'s of lift, no vibrations, without using the TC drop) on my TJ last weekend but I didn't put the front LCA's on because of the way the instructions were written.
On the rear of the vehicle, It says to jack it up, take everything off (springs, shocks, LCAs), install theirs, then put the wheels back on and lower it to the ground.
On the front, it has you replace the springs and shocks, then put the wheels back on and lower it to the ground.
Then the instuctions say to mark the bolts and LCA brackets, then replace the front LCAs.
Does anyone have any idea why they do this?
Is marking the bolts a generic way make sure you torque them back to original specs?
If so, I have a torque wrench, does any one know the ft-lbs for the bolts on the lower LCAs?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
