Which speedo gear for 3.73 and 33s?

It would be nice to know how fast I am going again :)

If anybody knows how to figure out which speedo gear I need (or just knows) I would appreciate passing it on.

I have D35 with 3.73 gears and 33" tires.

Think you need the SG32 gear, for 3.73 and 33" tires according to the gear chart I have seen.

Yup, the 32 tooth gear is what I used with the 33's when I was running the 3.73's and it seemed just about right..

That's what I thought, but my speedo seems way off. Could I have put it in wrong?

To answer my own, question, it seems like it is possible to put it in wrong. Why it matters I don't know, but there are two possible positions the housing can be rotated to.

I'm also running 32 tooth gear but Snot Bubble posted (on JU) that a 30 tooth gear is more accurate.

Hopefully he'll find this place and post.

Make sure that you have it indexed right.. There are marks on the housing stating the tooth range for each of the two available positions.
