A friend of mine is looking to lift his Liberty. We live in Utah and I am sure there are some places who will the lifts. We are curious though if there are any web sites that sell the different lifts and what different lifts there are available. Is there anything like a budget boost that we could put on ourselves?

You might want to checkthe Boulder Bars guys. They sell a lot of KJ stuff...They are very knowledgable and really support the KJ guys. The Daystar kit is an outstanding kit for the KJ. Later, Clint

One you can do yourselves is the http://www.rocky-road.com OTT lift..
it gives about 2.5" of lift, and will allow 265/75's ( 32" ) with some trimming..
Rocky Road Outfitters sells 3 different lifts for the Liberty..
The one I have is the Combo lift and I couldn't be happier with it.. and I also run the 265/75's
and they also sell the "puck' kit..
the Puck kit and the Combo kit require using a strut compressor..
and not a cheap rental unit.. it needs to be wall mounted..
the OTT does not require the compressor..
but it also does not firm up the ride..
some people have complained about the ride being tooooo soft with the OTT..
so it just depends on what is wanted..
RRO is right there in SLC..

Skyjacker also sells a 2.5" complete suspension kit. I haven't seen it on their site yet, but it's in their catalog. A local dealer quoted me around $750.00 for the kit plus install. I've found that a change of tires makes all the difference in the world. I just switched to Goodrich AT's and the Liberty performs soooo much better off pavement. They made it feel like a completely different vehicle.

Thanks guys. I am familiar with Rocky-mountain.com. I told my friend to go out there and take a look. He did and he is going to go with the OTT I believe. I appreciate the help. These rocky mountain guys are about 40 minutes out of SLC in a place called Heber City. But it is a nice drive and worth it I would say. Plus we could stop and go fishing at the Jordanelle resevoir or on the Provo River so I am excited.
