Ok, I'm considering changing the Tera Front Adjustable Front Track Bar that I currently have to another one.. Anyone have any suggestions ? Two come to mind, RE and Currie.. Haven't heard too much about the Curries (do you have to drill anything out, guess I could call 'em and ask). I know with the RE, you have to drill out the taper on the frame end.. The only "bad" thing that I've heard about the RE's, and it seems that almost everyone complains about it, is that the frame end bolt tends to come loose, not a good thing ;)

JKS also makes an adjustable trackbar (I should say "sells" one- I assumed they make it) I have their quicker disconnects- that's all I know about them- might be worth a look??

I haven't heard anything bad about the Teraflex TB. When I was down at Bob Supplee's the other day, a customer had returned one (along with an additional part that Tera had sent the customer). He claimed that while it was on his ZJ it caused the famed "front end wobble" and when he had gone back to the stock TB, it went away.
Personally, I think it was a problem the customer was having with his Jeep (ie. improper tire balance, alignment, etc).
That's the only negative I've heard.
I've had a Rusty's front track bar on for several months, seems fine, no trouble so far. Think I payed around $130 for it, but I might be wrong. I'm at work so can't look it up.

Fred,
I've had my RE front track bar on for 27 months and about 49K miles without it ever loosening. Use some red loc-tite and torque it down to the proper specs. Double nutting it would ensure it doesn't loosen up, though I haven't needed to do it. Additionally, the heim joint still seems good as new. FWIW, I think that some of the bad marks that the RE bar has received was when they used the smaller bolt and joint.
