But Nasty!
But still a jeep :)
I think I'll wait and see. I definitely want to test drive one and see the sticker price.
And I want to see the towing capacity. Can we all go together and tow the TJ behind us to Colorado?

I voted for number 4. (the only vote for it BTW). I like it. Didn't at first when I first saw pics of them. But it's grown on me.
I'm thinking that I might try to get one during the second or third year of production. It would become my long distance Jeep, for those long runs when I go to see my family in Canada on an annual basis. More comfortable than my TJ. Probably won't do the same type of wheeling I do with my TJ, but that is why I will keep the TJ too. :)

TOO MUCH PLASTIC for me. But i grew up in a CJ3 (I think) Old military style jeep. I like the CJ-7 the best and will make my jeep look like one too. My $.02
I like it. I have owned three Jeeps myself uncluding a 93 XJ, a 99 TJ and my 2000 WJ. I know that many people don't like change, and that is why some people are apprehensive about the KJ. Others don't like the unknown, with the change from Solid Axle to IFS, and the new V-6, there is pleanty of unknown to go around.
Personally I would have prefered the Dakar, the thought of a LWB 4 Door TJ with a Solid Roof really appealed to me. That would have been a hit with many Jeepers I think. With all the aftermarket stuff out there for TJ, those of us that love the TJ but want a bit more room whould have our prayers answered.
I hope that the Liberty sells well, and I think that it is only a matter of time until it is welcomed into the fold with open arms. Can't wait to see them on the road and the trails.

Nasty, but it is a Jeep, even if it looks like a KIA or CRV
Looks like a lot of you guys wouldn't mind a free one. You know you have to drive it right? You can't just sell it and buy a TJ. :)

You can just switch the IFS to solid axle. A buddy of mine did it on his 4-Runner. He said it cost him about $1200 for parts though. He rips up the rocks so it was worth it to him.
