I know I can get the Powertrax No-Slip, but what are my other choices for locker for the Chryco 8.25?
I have looked, but not really knowing what I am looking for has hampered me some.
I am doing my gear swap in June so need to get all the ordering done in the next week before I leave for vacation. Any help???

You can always do a Lincoln locker(welded) in the back and through a limited slip up front.

According to the april issue of car craft there are only two options for the ten bolt 8.25 rear, one is as you say the powertrax, the other is a ratcheting locker offered from Tractech for 27-29 spline axles with anywhere from 2.71 on up gearing. The number for tractech is 800/328-3850 or 810/759-3850 the web site is at www.tractec.com. happy jeepin

Arb makes a air locker for the 8.25 now. $625 or so
Lockrite makes a locker for the 8.25 for around $250
Auburn makes a Professional LS thats really close to being a locker. $399 - They dare you to brake it
What I want is a Locker like ARB's but that is also a LS while not engaged. I know I'm dreaming.
The selectable locker that is a limited slip when not engaged is Tractech's Detroit Electrac. It an electric Truetrac. But it probably won't be availabe for the 8.25 axle.
Goto http://www.tractech.com/ and click on "What's New". That's all the info they have so far.
