Well lets see.
One of my freinds and myself have built a very nice, strong, custom front high clearance winch bumper.

Here are some pics:

Good stuff. Do you plan on adding a fairlead mounting plate?
Looks like you will have to remove the bumper to mount the winch. Is that the plan?

Yes, you are correct.
The winch has to be mounted first and then you put the bumper on.
That way your winch is secure and can not be stolen very easy.

We actually worked on the design this weekend, because we are getting ready to build another one this week.

We are going to change a few little thing, but not very much, which will make it lighter than it all ready is, but it will not loose any of its strenght.

I am plannin gon ordering a winch next week, so hopefully the next pics I post will be a complete finished product, with winch on it.
