Well I finally commited and ordered the 4.56s last night from Adventure 4WD.
Dora is great to deal with.
Now to figure out how to pay for lockers...anyone know where a money tree is located??? :D

I'll be heading to Idaho that weekend also, but don't have near the drive you do, I'm only going to preston, about 6 miles from the utah idaho boarder 2.5 hours for me :D
enjoy your trip.

Is that "Lets go Jeepin" Dora?
I've known her on-line since her first time muddy :D
Can't wait to hear how you like the gears. My new 4.10s in my TJ are GREAT

You're going to LOVE the 4.56's!! Are you running 33's?

Running 33x10.50s, will eventually go up to 33x12.50s one day, but that is it for this XJ.
I was told the gears are sitting in my living room, got delivered the day I left on vacation. Now to get a rear locker before the install.....

Too bad you're not runnin' a D35 - I've got an ARB in one sittin' on the side of Satan's Shed ---
You thinking "lunch-box" or "carrier"? (or are you still ponderin'?)

Yeah, almost wish I had the D35 for easier choice, but will take the 8.25 over it for now.
I am getting the POwertrax No-Slip for the rear and possibly lunchbox up front. May leave the front open...depends on what the check book says when I go to order.
Does your check book talk to you? Mine says "BOUNCE" far more than I would like to hear...but at least it is just a warning...so far....

I stoped with the checkbook eons ago -- plastic doesn't cut my fingers!
Strangely, I've been doing OK on that as well (no outstanding balance) - seems odd with qty=3 lifted XJs in the driveway...
I'm hearing great things about the NoSlip -- even thinking about adding one to my commuter XJ ("Donor", '87 2-dr) whenever I get around to setting the 4.10s into it.
We gotta run something!
