I have a 96 cherokee and I have installed bfg 235/75 15's on it, when I purchased it it had 215/75/15's on it, because of the bigger tires should I add to my bumpstops? Many have told me no, but after reading some Im wondering If I should have added some. I have owned jeep cherokees for the last six years, I had an '84 before this one, I had the 235's installed on it and had rubbing when I turned and what seemed like early bottoming when crawling, but I have not had that trouble with the '96. I have been wheelin for quite a while now(that is what retired my '84hehe) but have never thought about the technical side of the suspension, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

if your rubbing with 235's then your sagged. The pre97 cherokee's didn't get rubbing until you stuffed the 30x9's on it. And even then it was minimal rubbing.
My 235's were rubbing the like hell in the back, Ie Bad springs "bent wrong way" Now I'm in the middle of a suspension upgrade. I have 6" of clearance from the 235 to the flare's lip now. :)
Which is good since i'm picking up 31x9.5 TSL radials Saturday. :D:D
I still have to install the front suspension so right now My jeep looks like a hotrod.
