I picked one up and installed it the other day and was wondering if anyone else has used one. I don't really understand how it is supposed to correct the front differential ofset caused by a 3 inch lift. It looks like it puts more stress on the balljoint on the track bar.....

Was it the RE drop bracket?, if so it was not designed for stock or adjustable trac bars. It was only designed for the HD RE trac bar. HTH

yeah - not to mention where the bracket mounts to the unibody (major increase with latteral loading)

The bracket is supposed to correct the sideways offset by lowering the upper mounting to a "stock distance above the axle", since the offset is induced by changing that value (the trackbar acts as a hypotenuse of a right triange formed by the bar, the axle for the horizontal distance between the lower mount and pitman, and the vertical height from the pitman to the axle -- as the height from the pitman to the axle increases, since the trackbar isn't changing length, the horizontal distance from the lower bar mount and the pitman has to shorten
(trackbar^2 - height^2)^-2 = horizontal distance from pitman to lower trackarm mount
)

I know too much info - but that's how they figured that the length would be restored (flattening out the angle of the trackbar)...

The bracket does not address that the trackbar needs to be the exact length and angle as the draglink to keep the vehicle from "steering" as the front suspension is compressed.

I honed the front disks hoping it would resolve the issue. It helped as they were pretty warped but there is still the vibration at 80KM. I have heard that putting a lift on decreases the distance between ther front and rear tires and changes the caster in the front resulting in a improper setup. It could be resolved by adding adjustable lower control arms......
