15 yearold that wants to become a 4x4 master and needs help

It did have a broken U joint that was repaired but other than that nothin majorly related to offroading or 4wheel drive.

I'm looking to turn this baby into the king of the road. Making it LOOK the badest and PERFORM as well.

I'd like your opinions on a 4.5" rusty's lift and recommended tires. Thats the lift i want. Now i need help with the rest (important stuff).

What else do i need that isnt in the kit, and for best preformance/look what tires should i go for?

and if in any way possible can you give me labor estimates? or if you think a 15 year old with the strength of a 17 year old and the mind of an engineer can put it in myself? (with the help of my brother who has completly [sucessfully] stripped out a few cars in his time and knows a thing or two about cars [not jeeps])



If you can do this i will be very greatful, also does anyone know of some trails that i can start out on stock so i can gain some exsperience? Im in the central North Carolina area.... Thanks in Advance


by the way money shouldnt be a problem over $4k ive been workin for 6 months and still got another year before i start drivin it.

Sounds like you and your brother should be able to do it. I'd recommend the Rubicon Express lift though. IF you swap in ZJ coils and add shackles to the rear you can get 6.5" of lift fo rthe price of 4.5".

Hey i saw that earlier. Mine is the same color and everything exsept the handles are black not chrome and i said to myself, "thats what i want my jeep to look like" if you could list the prices on all the mods and stuff i would really appreciate it!
