Today's race was great. I was happy for Elliot Sadler for winning his first race. It was also cool to see Tony Stewart go after Jeff Gordon after the race. I'm not a Tony fan, but I hate Jeff(just like everyone else).
Also, I'm surprised how well Fox has done this year with the coverage, it's really good. Since they carry all the races, they have invested a lot of money into it. And DW is a great announcer.

It was a good race...but I have to disagree about Stewart. I can't stand Gordon and really don't have a problem with Stewart, but after watching the replay, it is clear that Stewart came down while Gordon maintained his line. Even if Gordon came up and bumped Stewart, it was unsportsmanlike for him to ram him after the race.
Nothing like acting like a spoiled kid in front of thousands of people.:p

I have to agree there was not much Gorden could have done he was already on the apron now I don't care either way about these two drivers but bad sportsmanship was shown on tonys part and I hope nascar fines the hell out of him
I ussed to race nascar late models and know if I had done that after the race I would have been sitting out the next couple of races

Amen! Nascar should do something to Tony before he injures someone with his childish behavior!

I agree Tony was totally out of line.
A BIG fine is in order
I would agree that it was a great race. That short track provides for some very exciting racing.
I am new to NASCAR. I decided to start watching this year to see how the Dodge teams would do. Ever since Daytona (and the unfortunate passing of #3) I have been hooked. I look forward to the Winston cup on Sunday and even watch some of the Busch series.
I have no frame of reference when comparing the Fox network to others for NASCAR racing but I agree that they are doing a good job. My son and I like the Crank it Up section.
I currently do not have a favorite driver. I don't understand the hatred for Jeff Gordon. From my brief experience with the Winston Cup #24 comes across as an excellent race car driver with a lot of class. Can someone shed some light on the Gordon hatred?

People hate Jeff Gordon because he is so good. He has won alot of races and some people don't like that. It was the same when Earnhardt won alot and it will be that way when someone else starts to dominate.

Tony Stewart, where do I begin on this guy. I hope they fine the he%$ out of him. What a poor loser. The funny part is that some many people got turned around today and each one was a professional situation, except for Mike Skinner on that poor rookie. But nnnooooooo, Stewart had to make his point and show everyone that he can't control his anger and has a bad temper. Just like he did a couple of years back when he got wrecked and waited for the driver who wrecked him, I forgot who it was, to come around and try to jump in his car???!!!!! Rubbin's racin' boys!
Freaking baby!http://cwmonkey.virtualave.net/s/net8/lol2.gif
Oh yeah, everyone hates Gordon because he wins and wins and is so competitive and ranks with the "senior tour" even though he is relitively young to be in his prime. That and his wife is hot. http://cwmonkey.virtualave.net/s/net2/ukliam3.gif

I don't like Gordon because he strikes me as a spoiled little rich kid.....just the impression I get. He is a good driver, though....and is wife is one fine lookin' woman.http://www.ilovejeeps.net/images/icons/icon20.gif
