ZJ: Tcase skid torn off. Need help putting back on.

Ok When I was at GSE I had the pleasure of testing out the durability of the Tcase skid. It did great on rock but a tree decided to wedge itself on either side of the skid at the front and when the front tire drove over the the tree it pulled the skid plate off.As you are aware the skid is held on by Mopar Nutsert(great idea these were....NOT). Two in the cross member and one on the frame rail. The cross member I believe that I can just use regular nuts big enough to hold on but the frame rail had the nutsert ripped through and the hole is now bigger. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? I really do not want to froad without the skid as it proved itself to work with the tree.

I can help! Same thing happened to me once! If you take a bolt and tie ti to a long zip tie you couls feed it thought the cross member and put the bolt on the bottom. Then cut the extra off the bolt "so next time offroad you dont rip that off". The other one you can do the sae thing. but it is harder to do throught the frame.
