Dash Painting?

Just wondering if any of yous guys out there changed your dash color with paint?
I have a mist grey dash and am thinging about going black or tan.
Also what are your opinions on a flame red jeep with black or tan? Which is better?
I can't decide...

My TJ has a black dash, with agate being the primary color of the interior. Darker than the gray that I had on my '97 TJ. My wife's TJ has the tan and black dash. Looks pretty good.

Black would go good with your Flame Red.

It is far easier to go darker than lighter. Trying to go to tan will probably wind up with blotchy color.

Someone on JU one posted a pic where he had painted the guages cover and center surround of his dash red. Looked really cool. If you want to search for it, it was in the wrangler forum last summer. If I get a chance, I try to look for it also.

I have already painted those pieces red, it might have been me that posted on JU i can't remember. I want to paint the rest of the dash though.
