hello everyone
I have noticed that my tires are getting bald so I am wondering what are the best tires for the money. I have AT right now and I want to go to a mud or something more aggressive tire. How many miles can The TSL's go on and what about Thornbirds, baja claw, pro comp muds, etc. I want 33X12.5 tires and I dont want to go any higher or wider.

I have set of Dunlop Mud Rovers and am very pleased. Decent price to at $113 for 32x11.5's. Also check there off market brand Remington.

They don't make claws or thornbirds in 33x12.50, and thornbirds suck, so you don't want those. Claws are good in the mud, but won't last very long on the road. The TSLs are they best(behind boggers, which they make in 33x12.50s now or soon) in the mud, but won't last with much road use. How much driving on the road will you be doing? If it is alot, I would stay away from swampers. I can't comment on the pro comp muds, but I have heard good things about them. My MTRs are great on the road, but they aren't great in the mud. If you do mostly rocks, the MTRs might be your tire, but they are pricey.

this is moabjeeper again, the jeep is a daily driver and most of the stuff I want to do is rock, like in moab.
I do a little muding at times but not very much

daily driver, wheeler, mudder, get good year mt/r's, they have the best ride and noise level of any other mt, and are supprisingly good off road.

First let me say that Thronbirds are a waste of money. Radial claws are not all that great either.
If you can afford it get Goodyear MT/Rs. If you are on a budget get General Grabber MTs. Grabbers are only 2 ply, but their 2 plys are thicker than the BFG 3 ply.
