Well my neigbor finally brought the strut compressors home so I can go ahead and do my lift this weekend. The one question I do have however is How long can I expect it to take if I am going at a slow pace? I've printed of Toolmans sheet. Hopefully this will help me remember to put the bumperstop back in before. :D. Anyway Thanks for the help.

It took me and a buddy about three hours (and two beers), going slowly. Make sure you've got all the tools you need, or have another vehicle at hand in case you need to go get something.
Other than that, just be careful and don't rush it. The spring compressors are kind of scary, but if you don't rush it you'll be fine. Remember to put the compressed spring out of harms way while you install the spacer, just in case the compressors should slip off.
Let me know if there's something I left out in my write-up. Good luck, and let us how it went (pics please :)).

I agree with Toolman. It should take anywhere from 2-4 hours depending on your aptitude and such. Take your time. The rear does not require the spring compressor at all so I would not even use it, but the front will require it.
Good luck.

Hey Howler,
You are not too far from me. Do you ever venture over Michigan way? I was up in your neck of the woods snowmobiling last March (2 hour drive) until my sled decided to granade on me. I will probably be coming back this winter to use your "whiter" snow as there are not many folks over your way compared to here in Michigan.
Anyway, if you come this direction, let me know, maybe we can do some wheelin' sometime. If you have any events in your area, let me know, I would like to come check out the off-roading in Canada too.

Danno, I don't get down that way very much but I will definatly keep you in mind when I do head down your way. Where about do you go snowmobiling? Theres alot of trails around If your ever up this way just send me an e-mail and we'll get together. The Jeep club I belong to would be glad to take out a few new people on the trail.

Well, the buddy who helped me is male. Although I have nothing against homosexuals, I wouldn't want to participate in such things myself. Thus the lack of romance. :)
As Danno said, and my write up suggests, you don't need the spring compressors for the rear, just for the front.

Howler,
We went once last year. We started near Exeter and went towards Hensall. That is about as far as I got before my engine decided to quit on me. I hope to take a trip up to Tobermory later this year to do some diving as well.
I will look you up if in the area.
