Sanden AC Compressor Question

The local pull-a-part sells ac compressors for about $18 with warrenty. I found a sanden ac compressor that I want to use for onboard air, but it is out of an 85 with the v6. Therefore, it has a diffrent pully. I was wondering if it is possible, how much it would cost, and how much trouble it would be to replace it with a pully combatable with the inline 6.

Now I can probably find one elsewhere for a little bit more so should I keep looking or would this compressor be easy to modify.

Can't say about the "dollar figure" or the specific application, but if the compressor body is the same as the OEM unit - you can usually get by with swapping the clutch (integrel with the pulley) -- the pulley/clutch swap is still less than a compressor, but not much...
