Does anyone out there have a Dana 300 under there cherokee?? I am seriously thinking about it. What do all of you think?:confused:(

Don't the 300s have the front output on the right side? I haven't looked too deeply into them since I was working on my CJ, but I don't recall the gearsets being very adaptable. Atlas is 'clockable' so you can change the output location, but both are very strong cases.

Well, I heard that youcould flip the transfer case and it would work. If you hear any more about it, help me out.

If I remember, the 300 uses a pressure-feed lubrication system -- you'd need to work on a new pick-up location and the drain-back...
...it's been awhile.

so you know about a dana 300 switch?? Or maybe you know what could be done to do it?
