[Venting mode on]

This morning, I'm getting on the freeway around one of those 360-degree onramps. I'm still breaking-in my gears and getting used to the 5" lift, so I'm taking it easy around this puppy.

There's a JeepChick in a black YJ behind me who is riding my tail like she's hooked to my D-Ring. As I get around the curve, I punch it a bit, partly to get into the flow of traffic and partly to give her a break. I'm still not fully jumping on it because I've only got like 200 miles on the gears and the new TeraLow TC. She is visibly upset at this inconvenience and punches it around to my left just missing my rear corner. Then she doesn't keep going, but rather boxes me in behind the slow-@assed tercel in front of me in the slow lane!

I had to lay off the gas, and wait while they drifted ahead of me just to change lanes to get on with my 20 mile commute.

I guess what really irks me is that she was driving a Jeep. I mean, if you can't expect common driving courtesy from another Jeeper, then we might as well all put 1-800-Eat-$hit stickers on our bumpers and screw everyone on the road!

hey, everyone has bad days, but some people aren't worthy of the Jeep name.. isnt there something in the owners manual about bad attitudes while you're in a Jeep and getting your emblems re-posessed? 8^) .

LOL. If there isn't there should be.

I can understand her wanting to get around you, but blocking you in is majorly stupid. People like that shouldn't be behind the wheel of any vehicle.

There are idiots driving every make and model out there...unfortunately that includes Jeeps. Just a sign of how society has become.:(

When I picked up my Jeep at the dealer they didn't offer a manners upgrade. If someone is a jerk, getting behind the wheel of a Jepp won't always cure them:(

Hey, you sure you don't work here in Toronto?

Up here they blow their horns and shake their fists at ya until they get past you then they pull into the lane right in front of you and drive slower than you were doing before.

As has been mentioned. Theres a LOT of *******s, and *******-ettes ;) in Jeeps. The vehicle does not mean they are going to become more or less of one.

Although I must admit, as soon as I see someone get in a Mecedes or BMW they immediately think they no longer need to use their blinkers, stop at red lights, or do the speed limit :D

HEY!!! Oh wait, I've been called a b!tch, not an a-hole-ette. :o

Anyhow, yes, there are jerks in every make and model of vehicle. Heck, I almost got taken out by a guy in a YJ driving down the shoulder lane when it was closed. He decided to swerve into a legal lane and nearly took me out in the process. Now that would have been a sight. A TJ and a YJ tangled up and flipped over on the highway.
