I am looking for the best riding shocks for a slightly lifted ZJ. I need something that is fairly long stroke/long travel. So Stock/monroe are not long enough.
I have the OME "comfort" shocks, I am not very pleaseed with them.
So any suggestions for anything that will ride better?
I have 1.8" of OME lift.

I am looking at the skyjacker hydros, how about them??

Thanks!

I am pretty happy with my Edlebrock IAS XLS shocks. should be good for up to 3" of lift. Bilsteins are supposed to be good also- a little stiffer than the Edlebrocks, I think.

Man, I like my OME shocks. They have insane flex and I like the ride. But I definetly thing the IAS are better, but I just don't know if they flex as well. I think sometimes you have to comprimize ride for flex, depends on what you want more. hth.

I just bought the Bilsteins and have the rears on. I am still waiting for Michael to send me the conversion kit for the fronts so I can mount them. So far they are awesome. I do a lot of dirt road driving and they are generally pretty bumpy. On the road, I have not really noticed any difference from stock (other than the spacer-noise issue I found).
