this is why you should never take a stock yj in the rocks!it still has open diffs.the jack part is dangerous and should never be tried anywhere!it was that or leave the jeep at 10,000 ft and walk back to texas.amazingly, got out of it with only a smashed nerf bar.:D

What is the chain hooked to the rock or the axil? Couldn't tell from the pic. Did it work ? Got to lovbe those Hi-Lifts.
we dug out around the rock and yanked it out from under the jeep with the chain.the hi-lift was "planted" against the urban crap plow(just had that made/installed it while in colorado!)i was thinking about sending it to hi-lift to see if they would use it for an ad.the cool thing, the hi-lift wasn't mine.i will definately have one soon!the rock at the back of the hi-lift was just to steady the jack.:D lmao

I thought you were trying to push the Jeep back from the rock. But the pic looked like you were hiiked to the axil and that just looked funny. Glad it worked, Hi Lifts are awsome.
all that you don't see in the pic are my cousin and my other cousins boyfriend, and a good friend of my cousin.they refused to be in a picture with a texas jeep.oh well...the best mod i could do to my jeep would definately be colorado plates!

While reading Friday's Denver Post Saturday, I belatedly found out there was a pumpkin flight (in Golden?) that I missed. A few years ago I watched a Discovery Channel story on the catapults and other toys they were launching pumpkins with, and thought it looked like a blast...Contests were for distance hurled, along with another one for accuracy. I believe the target was a VW Bug if memory serves...direct hits almost rolled that car!!!
