Dudes,
Added the 2"spacers. I've changed tie rod ends (they were finished) and still have slight DW. Let me explain ....
Driving along, and when I hit a bump the steering wheel will go left and then right .. slight wobble nothing drastic .... but none the less annoying !
Can anyone suggest something here

Yeah, DW sucks, Its only gonna get worse from here. I got DW with the 2" lift too. I took it to a shop who is awair of DW. They said my Trac-bar in the front was shot. So I got the RE adj. One and it cured 90% of it "I had it really bad". Then I got the OME Steering stablier and not at 3.5" with 32's I am more stable then ever! hope this helps!

Ralphis mon amie. I thought you had that fixed. Ok here is my suggestion, I am guessing that your steering stabalizer is shot. My opinion on DW is that you would have this shake or shimmy when you hit a certain speed not just a bump. This sounds more like a bump steer problem. Does the DW happen when you get to a certain speed or just when you hit a bump. I believe you have checked all you nuts and bolt to be tight, so I'll rule that out. All tires ballanced? Have you had someone turn the steering wheel while you are under the ZJ to see if any part is loose? Just a thought.

Always check the trac-bar.

First of all I don't think what you get is a D/W as it cannot be a slight one. You either s*** yer pants or everything's cool. This looks like a bumpsteer and the higher you go the more pronounced it will get. Even with adj t/bars. It's simply because of the increased angle of your steering linkage. At 2" it shouldn't be excessive but will happen. So everything being tight is ever more crucial t/bar and control arms especially. If you get some slight smimmy on bumps a slight toe-out could help. An aftermarket stabilizer is usually not a must at that stage but can't hurt. D/W (well in my experience anyhoo) will have to get induced by bump(s) hoever small - borderline rough road. But unless you see drivers around you clearing away in panic, your Jeep shakes like the one in that mud commercial and you feel your seat smell funny...it's just an annoyance.
You could jack up one side of the axle up oh say about few inches up, then see how much did your steering wheel turn. If it did quite a bit, well there's your answer, if it didn't - somethin's loose.

I forgot to mention one important fact in all of this ...... It seems like the so-called bump-steer issue that I might have stems from this ... I think anyhow ..... Seems like when I get a bump/hole with the left tire (passenger side) the steering wheel thing happens ..... If I hit the same bum/hole with the driver side tire , nothing happens .... trust me on this one, I've tried it ....
Anymore suggestions ??

Just a thought but try switching the spare tire with the one that wobbles to rule out the tire. While the tire is off check to see if there is any excessive play in the hub? I would also check to make sure your suspention arms are tight. Thats all I can think of for now. Let me know what you find.

Howler,
I just finished switching from my spring/summer set to my fall/winter set of tires - did the whole rotation thing and all.
I'm thinking now that something under there is loose .... I'm still waiting for one of my buddies to book me in his shop to check out all the specs (proper ft/lbs etc.) for the fromt components ... he's got the tools and all .... my 3/8" drive just won't cut it for this !
Thanks and I will let you guys know what I find ...
