anyone have one they are happy with, maybe a high flow one, I'm going to be replacing mine, the bearing is going out and the blades are hitting the housing.
$20 at Autozone. happy? never thought about it like that. Very few cooling system components ever make me happy. it works well. no real need for HF here.
Wouldn't a HF pump actually make your engime run hotter? ie less time to cool. Would rather go with high flow fan with a 3 core rad. first. you have more air flow over a greater surface area., then if you are still getting hot I'd change the thermo housing and pump to a HF.

I allready have a 3 row radiator, and have tried diffrent fans, but the thing has run hotter since i replaced the factory wp with one from checker, and this is the third one from checker, I'm sick of replacing their "life time warrantied" parts, so I'm spending some money on the thing and if it goes out then I'll be pissed. and I have heard good and bad about flowkooler, I have ordered one, but If I don't like it its going back and I'll either get one from the dealer, or try the one hesco sells.
As for pump bearing failure, too much belt tension tends to cause that quite often. A more expensive pump would fail just as easily.
Running hotter..had that prob on many different vehicles.
I have heard the water-wetter stuff helps as well. never tried it though..You could try an electric fan on the other side of the radiator too. I know there are higher performance fan clutches on the market.. could be a faulty tem sending unit/gauge.. Also have you checked your a/c condenser, could be restricting air flow too. Not sure if you have an Auto or 5 sp. , but if it is auto, a seperate tranny cooler would also help. other than that air/fuel/timing probs might be a partial contributer too.
You didn't specify which system you have, but a faulty rad cap can mess ya up. Then there is a possibility of a blockage in the system as you have installed and removed quite a few gaskets.
Could get a liquid nitrogen kit installed for a few thousand dollars, but not sure if that would be a bit too much, or who would design it for you.

ok bamm, I did have to much tension on the belt, and thats why the thing did what it did, I have a new 3 core radiator, a new dealer fan clutch, a new stock electric fan, a new radiator cap, a bigger tranny oil cooler, takes up half the radiator, and is probably part of the problem, air, fuel, timing, are taken care of by the computor, but the jacobs may be adding to the heat with the hotter spark. I'll be trying water wetter, soon as I send back this chease ball flow kooler, and get a pump from the dealer, and a new fan, the fan has been bent a little from a separating dampner, so this could be part of the problem also, but I want the thing to run at 180-210 all day long wheeling or not with the air on or not, is that to much to ask, probably so with a cherokee
