I'm definitely for the free market economy.
First it was AT&T breakup and hundreds of local and long distance providers to pick from.

Today I get a notice that my local natural gas service is now the same.
I need to pick a natural gas supplier from a whole list.
I have no idea who I want to feed my home gas meter:confused:

Do I pick some local "Dee-Dee and Bill's" gas company or what?

Any one else going through this? Suggestions?

I suppose next I'll have to choose who supplies my water?
Here we are 10 miles from one of the largest fresh water resources in the world (The great lakes)
and I'll have to pick between Perrier, Avia, or Pete and Bills water Company?

On a brighter side; regular gasoline is down to $1.16/gallon here:)

Gas is still $1.37 around here, but I don't have to pick my natural gas supplier. (I use LP for the stove)

But I haven't heard of that happening around here......yet. AT+T wants to break apart bellsouth though, so I wonder what that is going to do to my phone service.....

$1.16 a gallon!!! I just filled up at $1.59.... between that and the electric crap I'm beginning to really hate California...

Ya know, poloticians are really loopy... Up here we de-regualted the phones a few years back, last year, they de-regualted gas, now they are going to re-regulate electricity.

EVEN THOUGH they see what is happening in California, they say, "Won't happen here, we know what we are doing!"

Yeah right.

So now, I have 4 phone calls a day from some cut rate long distance companies, 3 knocks on the door a week from "Beano's cut rate gas" and Bill and Ted's excellent gas adventure Co." and NOW I"m going to have to contend with 6 new electricity suppliers...

Oh, not to menion the cable guys fighting it out with the satellite guys

This is becoming INSANE... All in the name of "Free Enterprise"
