It looks like that last guy cancelled his bid and it's back down to $40,000.
He states on his bid retraction that Ebay told him to do it.:confused:

I was wondering what happened. Is there a fee for a bid retraction? If not there should be.

That's a hefty price for a Liberty. But atleast it went to a worthy cause.;)
