I have 31" KO's and a 2" BDS lift. I need to get some new/longer shocks. I would LOVE to get OME, but I would not be alive if I got those right now.... maybe later. What is the next best for less $ (in your opinions)?
I may just bite the bullet and get OME, but I am curious what y'all are running and your thoughts.
Thanks! Jason

Rancho RSX. They are self-adjusting, and long travel. Rancho markets them as a "Rockcrawling" shock. So far I am very happy with them.

I'm not very impressed with the Skyjacker nitro shocks that came with my lift (other that that, I love the kit) and I plant to swap them out for Edelbrock IAS shocks as soon as I put in spacers.

my buddy Brad put a set on his YJ with an SOA and he loves the ride as well..

Rustys, a great shock for the money, plus he stands by his products. I have had them on my Jeep with my 2 inch BB, and now my 3 inch lift and they have been great. Around $30.00 a shock.

Doetsch Tech DT3000 shocks are well respected among rock crawlers. For $32.50 and a lifetime warranty, I think they're a real bargain. I sure like how mine ride and perform offroad.

Wow, I actually have something the guru has;)
I really like the DT 3000 shocks for the same reasons.

Jim, that's what I replaced with my Doetsh Tech DT 3000 shocks, Rancho RS9000 shocks.:D
I swear, as much as I loved my RS9000 shocks I ran for several years, the DT3000 shocks do ride better (even my wife commented on the better ride) and I feel they give slightly better control when I'm rock crawling. I only switched to the DT3000 shocks when I just couldn't spend the $70+ each for new longer RS9000 shocks after installing a new taller lift. I'm now glad I switched to DT3000 shocks, that's for sure. In my case, it wasn't "you get what you pay for", I think I got more for less.:)
