Whether people like the Liberty or not, it is selling. Personally I love it and it suits my purpose perfect, but I DON'T want DC to think that this means all future jeeps should be IFS. Not because I don't like IFS, but because to me the attractiveness of Jeeps has been the low cost to modify them and IFS is expensive to modify.
With all other Jeep models scheduled to be re-designed soon I enthusiastically recommend everyone write a letter to DC asking them improve the off-road ability of the Jeep products and to keep Jeeps inexpensive to modify with simple and effective solid axle designs.
Remember that only polite and professional letters are likely to get read. Don't be insulting and don't slam their past decisions, just state what you want to see from future Jeeps.
If we don't tell DC what we want, then they can only go by what the "market analyst" stuffed suits tell them. :p
