View Full Version : I have heat in my CJ5!

I actually had to turn the heater down and it was 14 degrees outside. It was really worth the effort to shorten a CJ7 hard top and modify the doors to fit. I also added an aux heater. Now I no longer have cold drafts and do not have to bundle up for an artic expidition to enjoy driving her when its cold.

I don't even have doors for mine!!! One of these days I am going to modify my CJ7 top that is currrently on my CJ5 so it fits right.

Well TJ's are supposed to have some heat from the factory. Here in Michigan (the land of 100% Humidity even in winter) if you don't have heat to defrost the windshield you better at least carry an ice scraper for the inside of the windshield:D

I was doing that it ND. And now in florida I have to carry an extra wiper blade for the inside :D:D

LOL! Last winter when my wife was driving the TJ I drove our '73 Bug to work. I tried not to breathe otherwise I was scraping ice off the inside of the windshield too! :D
