Go to www.jparts.com and price the hooks for a WJ..
If they are considerably more than 10 bucks or so, you need to get the Mopar ones..
2 Front tow hooks for the KJ are like 65.00,, and 1 rear hook is like 45.00..
That would be the first step..
If they are close to 10 bucks then go to the auto parts store and ask them if you can
take one outside to check the fitment..

just visited this site for the first time, and seen this in the general tech and responded so i'll copy here...
I'm not all too familiar with the wj's but, they are a unibody vehicle like the xj's and zj's. The tow hooks must be attached to a bracket which is engineered to distribute the load properly on the unibody construction. this bracketry is why they cost so much $$$. the brackets are essential in location and distribution of pulling load, anything else is very unsafe! Mopar has discontinued the tow hook kits (brackets and hooks) for the ZJ's thats why there are alot of people searching the junkyards for the factory equipped models. I know that rusty's offroad has the kit for the zj but it is around $100, dunno but mopar should still stock the kit for WJ, since they are still in produciton, also chek your local junkyards, you may be surprised by the price difference, HTH

offroadwj, there may be a problem putting on the tow hooks together with your brush guard... the WJ tow hooks connect onto the "frame", and you have to remove your bumper cover to do it. It is pretty simple, actually, but maybe it won't work with that brush guard. I know it does work with the mopar brush guard, at least.
