I have run BFG m/t, BFG a/t, Goodyear. I am currently running ProComp M/T and love them. They have about 8000 miles on them and the tread is wearing nicely. They have one of the strongest sidewalls around and are awesome offroad. They have a little highway noise, but not untolerable. And for the price I don't think you can go wrong. IMHO

How do you figure they have one of the toughest side walls around? The first time I saw one of those tires was on a full sized Bronco that slit a sidewall on a rounded rock on a 2WD trail. I wasn't really impressed.

this information is from dealers, and articles i have read. I know several guys who run them and no problems. My buddy runs them on his rig, which he uses in the Warn Rockcrawling Championships.

The two ply side wall concerns me though. I ran a set of the 305/70/16's and never had a problem. I did take them on some nasty trails and never had a problem. The price is good and I would consider them again in the future. They are made Cooper tires and they did wear good.

they do use a 2 ply side wall, however they are thicker plies which are supposedly stronger than most 3 ply.

I run 35x12.5 MT on my Jeep and I love them. They air down nicely amd grip just about everything. Great wear on the street and aren't any louder then my old BFG's.

So far they have handled every trial I have tossed at them and no scuffs or heavy marks to show for it. If you follow the bang for the buck theory, these have to be at the top of the list.

I will be heading down to Indy this year and will report on them again.
