After 16 years of marriage, my wife and I are going our seperate ways (having been seperated now for four months). Breaking up as a two TJ couple.
At least we are still friends and very amicable about the entire thing. Fortunetly, there are no children involved (just four miniature Dachshunds) which I will keep as I retain the house and yard after the divorce. I of course keep my TJ, she keeps hers.
My problem of course will eventually be finding a girlfriend who appreciates Jeeps. 'Course I'm not to that point yet, enjoying the solitude of being single for the time being. But in time I plan on getting involved with someone. Only hope I can find a girl who likes Jeeps. Not gonna be an easy task. And of course it'll be tougher to find a woman who will like me. :)

Thanks Bill. I'll take you up on the beer eventually. We gotta get together soon. Sorry I couldn't make it out to wheel today. Can't tomorrow either as I work late. :(
Now if you're free Wednesday or Thursday evening, I can meet. Heck. Doesn't even have to be to wheel. Drink beer? :) I can come down to Norman at the drop of the hat.

Hope you're correct. Not that I'm in any kind of hurry. Right now, I'm just adjusting to the solitary lifestyle (aside from the four pooches keeping me company).
And my wife and I still get together to talk, have dinner, etc. It's just that the feelings between her and I have pretty much fizzled as far as romance goes.
Now, there was this cute little female police officer in Midwest City whose number I tried to get, but was unsuccessful. Should have sped or done some illegal lane changing. Or four wheeled over some curbs or something. :)

Sounds good. I'm still jobless. Give me a call.
I'll buy you several if you help me put those front LCA's on. i still haven't gotten to it (**** fickle weather).

William,
Email me your phone number, address or whatever and I can come down and meet you after work Wednesday if that works for you. Say about 4:00pm that afternoon?
'Course this does depend on the weather. Supposed to be decent and in the mid-70's, so maybe we can get those LCA's on for you. Lemme know what you want to do.

Dwayne - so sorry to hear that. I hope you'll be able to work it all out and still be friends.
I guess that's about the only "advantage" of being unable to find a S/O - not having to deal with divorces or break-ups.

Thanks TOOLman. I'm doing fine with the entire thing, as is the wife. I think we'll make good friends for a long time to come.
In a sense this is like a new beginning for me. A new chapter in my life if you will. I look forward to what it may offer.
I've learned after 36 years that life is a constant state of change.

Sorry to hear, man. I just wonder if I could have the same 'afterward' relationship with my wife.

Sorry to hear of you loss, congratulations on the freedom. Don't take me wrong, for I too am like you said, "fizzled" out in the romance section. I am on my second marriage, and feel that my lifestyle (Military) has placed a huge damper on the love dept. I send you my condolences as I pray for hope on my own crumbling relationship. Did someone mention beer? Hmmm, that seems awfully inviting. Anyone up for women bashing?
