Hi, folks. After reading the post about "attitudes" in the Off-topic area of JU and finding the link here, I decided to hop on over here. I prefer the how-to and technical topics, which are getting scarce on JU. So...
First weekend off in a month, and last night Kolak sent me the latest of mods: The euro headlamps, wiring harness, PIAA Superwhite 80/80 H4s, and a Poweraid throttle-body spacer. I've still got the front Addco stabilizer to put in --the rear one is on.
About the euro-spec lamps. Did you know that these are made in the US of A by Wagner? Yes, indeed. Before I attempt to install the harness, I'm going to need to get some fuses and holders for same, since they are not included. Since it's raining out, I'll wait until later in the week to install them.
All this and already I'm thinking of converting the mechanical fan to electric, and I still need to figure out where I'm going to stash the Amsoil Dual-remote Bypass filter assembly...
Well, I probably won't get much done this weekend, as I've got cabin fever and want to check the performance of the Kolak exhaust (header to tailpipe) on the highway. So far I've seen about a 6% mpg increase in city driving.
