Just stepped out on my front porch and noticed a UPS InfoNotice sticking on one of the horns of my Texas Longhorn door knocker (not kidding, made of cast iron with about a five inch spread) :)
Guess what? My Kilby fuel skid plate is sitting in some friggin butt ugly brown truck waiting for me to pick it up come Monday. And I could of had it Friday evening if the dumn UPS guy hadn't stuck it up on my longhorn's horn where I didn't notice it. And installed this weekend. But noooooo. Sheeit. My luck sucks lately. :(

I have had horrible luck with UPS, too. Heck, they delivered my Hi-Lift jack about eight houses down from me...good thing I have some honest neighbors. That is just one of the many problems I've had with them.
Is this the first attempt to deliver your skid? I thought they normally try three times before you have to pick it up.

Yep. It was their first attempt. But because of my busy schedule working 70 hours a week, I'm not gonna be home when they roll around for the second or third attempt at delivery.
So I'll just drop on down at the freight pickup Monday and let them know I'll pick it up in person if they set it aside. I don't want it sent back to Kilby for sure.

UPS delivered my stuff okay...we paid the duty charges at the door...
Then a week later I got this mail saying final notice payment due...and a second one the day after...
I called and the lady fixed it for me...or so I thought...
a week after that we got 2 more notices from a collection agency...I called again and she said it was fixed again...
NOPE!
Got 2 more notices about 2 weeks later...
I called again and they said they fixed it...there was no reason for 2 bills seeing as there was only one shipment...they couldn't even explain what the charge was!
**** UPS!
Haven't heard anything for about 4 weeks...we'll see

What's equally frustrating is when the stupid manufacturer of something you ordered ships it to the dealer several states away instead of drop-shipping it directly to me like they were instructed to do. I bought a TurboCity Air Tube and expected it to be delivered overnight since they are less than 100 miles from me here in San Diego. INSTEAD, they shipped it to my dealer (Bob Supplee) in OKLAHOMA (!!!) who now must UPS it to me. So instead of waiting until Monday like you RYJAY, I'm probably waiting another week now:o
Thanks TurboCity, you did this once before and ya screwed it up again.
the only problem i've ever had w/ ups is that they usually deliver stuff a week after its scheduled delivery time. it'll usually sit in one of their dist. centers for a while. i've already been tempted to go there and pick it up because it usually gets lost in a dist. center about 20 miles from my house. kinda frustrating when ya wanna play with new toys.

I'll take that worry off of your hands Jerry. Is it already paid? No problem. I will make sure it gets to you...eventually... :D

The great thing about living in a apartment community is that if your not there to get a package they drop it off at the clubhouse and you pick it up there. They leave a note on your door telling you where it is. Works out great, my UPS guy knows me by name.

Should have sued. Steal the wife, drink my beer, but don't touch the dog!
