Static AND Dynamic balance?

I just got my new Cooper SST mounte and balanced and they put weights on the front and backside of mr rims.

Is there any reason why they couldn't do just a balance on the back of my rims like I have always had before?

Since I worked for Discount Tire this one should be easy.
static balance the tire is balanced on one side, the wheel then weighs the "same" all the way around.

dynamic balancing uses weight on both sides of the wheel. this gives you the best balance possible because the weight difference is corrected on each side of the tire

your tires will last longer and you will get a smoother ride with the dynamic balance.
