Yea, he got me. I thought that was an excellant AF joke. Lucky for us in the Jeepin' community that it was just a joke. I continue to praise his gast tank skid every where I go and every person I talk to about my Jeep. Now, while my personal preference is ILJ, this board is not as crowded as JU (which I concede is one of the main reasons I like it better over here). However, when bored at work, that "crowded" board offers much more entertainment: flame wars, what did I name my jeep, where did I go to college etc. :P LOL

Besides, there is a wealth of info out there, and knowledge is strength. As long as you can stomach the BS over there, sometimes you will find a golden nugget of wisdom. Just my .02

When did CNN start showing soap operas?
They starting showing them in 1992 and they continued until just recently, it was called, "Days of Our Clintons", they just started showing a new one, "Spies Like Us". It is set in China and revolves around a newly elected American president, a spy plane, a crew of 24 and a quarter of the population of the world. It looks like it may be on for quite a while, might even be more popular than Survivor. :)

Thanks for the welcome (you WERE serious- weren't you?) As a matter of fact I'm enjoying myself a LOT. There are a lot of great people on both boards, I'm slowly but surely learning something about the sport and the machines of off-roading, I've gotten to a few events with some folks from the boards...what's not to love...
I do wish I had more disposable income (or a wife who wasn't hung up on buying food and paying bills and having a nice home) so that my mod curve could parallel my learning curve! Well, I'm enjoying doing all I can. Also thanks for not taking some of the ribbing too seriously-hope I can be as easy-going when it's my turn...

You will find that it takes quite a bit to get a rise out of me...I think most things said online are just that, said online.

There are a few folks who can always get my pissed off, but for the most part it takes too much of my energy to get upset...and that make sit harder to turn a wrnech or make it over the next obstacle.
