No more fighting with your POS jack, no risk of your high-lift handle slipping and nailing you upside the head, just stick it under your rig, attach the hose to your exhuast pipe, and presto.
Large surface area will lift you in situations where a jack just sinks into the muck.
Availabe in variuos heights and weight ratings.
Aparently these are common in Australia, but I just heard about them a few weeks ago.

I saw those in JC Whitney about 15 years ago. I would like to try one out.

Around $80.00 US
I actually had one about 15 years ago. It worked more or less. I only used it to see if it would lift the car. It did, but it wasn't very stable.

Ya I agree with Elk I don't think resting 4000lbs on a bag of air would be very stable. I certainly wouldn't use it to change a tire, I have dropped my truck on the drum once and it was not fun. Scared the sht out of me.

I had a friend that had one of these. It worked pretty well because it would roll with the Jeep. Air it up until whatever is stuck is off the ground and then drive away.:)

Might be able to use it if your roll over on your side maybe. Atlest a good starting point to get you back on all 4s

Since you fill it using exhaust! I wouldn't think it would be good for self-recovery from a roll.
For the folks worried about stability, I imagine you could toss a big rock under the axle as needed to hold it up while changing the tire or filling the hole you dug yourself into, but I wouldn't want to put body parts under that vehicle while it was only held up by hte bag.
Interesting theory on getting out of a high-center by driving off the bag. I wonder if it has internal webbing to brace it, or if it's just a 'big bag'??
here's another way to fill it in the event of a rollover:fart:,chances are if you roll you'll have to clean your drawers out anyways:hopgrin:

Those kind of jacks have been used in EMS applications for about 10 years........They are pretty handy to use when you can't use anythign conventional to raise up a vehicle to either get someone out or just change a tire.
