I have a 3.5" suspension lift, that's more like 3" in the front, but delivers 3.25"-3.5" in the rear. I will add a 1.25" body lift in the near future. Would this be enough to run 35x12.50 tires off road?
This or next week I will mount the new winch, I expect the front springs to sag a little bit, thus definitely needing spacers up front.
I know I could add bigger spacers on top of the front coil springs and slightly smaller (1/2" less) spacers to the rear coils, but want to keep the control arm angles at a minimum. I don't want to cash out for the long arm upgrade right now.
All those decisions to make is very hard. Especially if you need to think trice about every part you want to order, because sending parts back from Austria to the USA is a major pita!

Lauti,
It will depend a lot on which 35 and what bumpstops you have. You should run at least 2" bumpstop extensions (if you have the poly urethane bumpstops) or even 2.25-2.5" ones with the stock rubber knobs. If you find you can stuff your 12.50 tire insde the fender so it does not touch the fender lip when turned (due to lot of backspacing), then 2" bump stops will be enough.
I'd get the 1.25" BL from Daystar. That way you get a hair more room between the fender and the tire. Plus it's a nice poly lift, so it should last a long time.

Milan,
I already ordered a JKS body lift, I have 40mm bumpstops up front and 30mm bumpstops in the rear.
As for the flares, I have Sahara (120mm) flares on my TJ, but also have 50mm wider flares (170mm) stored at home.
Perhaps I really need to add 1.25" spacers in the rear and something equivalent in the front, that also compensates for the winch, mounting plate and tubular bumper!
This would give me approximately 6 inches of total lift. Anything more than this would illegal here. 200mm over factory height is the absolute maximum lift height! That would be 1982mm total height including hardtop and tires! Right now I am at 1870mm! So 112mm to spare.

I want to run the TSL Q78-15LT for off road only, because any 35x12.50 would be too wide for our competition (the gates are just 2,20m wide), especially if mounted on my 8JJx15 Mangels wheels with 4" BS! Also the complete tire needs to be covered by the flare!
Perhaps I'll get a 35x12.50 at a later time, when not competing anymore, just for the recreational fourwheeling.
I think for street and winter driving a 35x12.50R15 BFG AT ko on a 4.75" BS'd 8JJx15 wheel and my 170mm flares would work. From my calculations the tire would be almost (5mm) completely covered and my Jeep could pass the vehicle safety inspection.
Here is a picture of the 31x10.50 on 8JJx15 wheel with (-10mm) offset (= about 4" BS) covered by the 170mm flare:

The Q78 might fit but I don't know for sure. In any case, the rubbing can be solved by bumpstop extensions not by spring spacers, unless you completely compress the springs already - which would not be good for the springs. The spacers will help you gain the lift lost by the extra weight of your accessories but that's it.
The Jeep looks good! I wish we did not have to use flares at all, as I like the flare-less look even better.
