So, it's down to the wire... I had my mind completely made up...Silver 4wd limited 27G package, off road pkg & sunroof...Then I receive an e-mail about the new Liberty Renegade... I absolutely love it! BUT>>> They are no where to be found in Dallas. Any suggestions? I'd like to see one in person before buying the Limited...

The Renegade package
is not an offroad package..
Is that a concern for you.??

I won't be doing much off roading...maybe a nice little trail in the flat DFW area...The limited package I believe has the same axles & suspension as the Renegade if I'm not mistaken...which is what we will be buying if we can't find the Renegade.

The Renegade is a 2003 model. Don't expect to see them on the lots until September.

Everything is the same except for wider tires, agressive fender flares, and a light bar.

Yeah I like those flares. i wonder if they will fit as a direct replacement for the current KJ flares. They look a little sturdier and easier to remove for plastic surgery purposes.:samurai:

But the Renegade package is purely cosmetic.

I like the lights & the colors...they look sportier than the limited. I also like the Cloth /Leather combo seats. Oh well...none of the dealers I e-mailed have answered me, so I guess they don't want to sell me one. I think I'm getting a good deal on the limited though. The MSRP is $26,910. I'm getting it for $25,500 including TT&L. Saving me about $3,000. Looks like it'll be early next week. Wish me luck!!
