Got My Kilby Skid!!!!

Yippee! My Kilby fuel tank skid arrived. What a chunk of metal!!

Already began painting it. Simply using some Rustoleum Satin Black. Not quite flat, not quite glossy. Just right. Same color I used for my bumpers. :)

Hope to be able to install it Thursday evening after work.

Be sure to get some photos when you get it on. I hear those are some of the best skids money can buy. One of these days, I would like to get one myself. Have fun!!! :)

You will be more than impressed with the Kilby skid after your first trip into the rocks. I constantly praise the product whenever I start talking Jeeps with someone. I even show it off with the giant scratches, like a father showing off his kids. :D

I feel that it was worth double what I paid for. :)

I do the same with my MOPAR gas tank skid.
But, wait, I did pay almost twice what you paid;)
