Got my Full "G" Licence

In Ontairo there is graduated licencing. It works like crap. You start with "G1"-have to drive with a parent,go to "G2"-can drive alone(lots of limits)... then full "G"-no restirctions

I just got my full "G" ... now I can legally do whatever I want.. plus I get cheaper insurance..

What's the G stand for?

I got my license with no experience or confidence at all. My parents would not get in the same car with me. And I didn't take Driver's Ed. so the only "practice" I had was from illegally driving my parents car when they weren't home. I got it about 1 1/2 hours of driving time before I took the test. I don't know why I took the test. I didn't have a car to drive.

My parents and brothers thought I was stupid and told me that I was crazy. The funny thing is that my older brother let me drive to the DMV since it was just 3 blocks away. The DMV guy didn't think it was odd that I drove up by myself.

Anyway, I scored a 90%. He deducted 10 points because a guy on a 10-speed was flying across the crosswalk and he and I both didn't see him. I nearly hit the guy! He sped up and hit the curb, flew over the sidewalk and hit a parked car! :eek: We pulled over and I thought the DMV guy was going to offer him help but instead he got out and yelled at him! He informed him that he was supposed to walk the bike across and that I was on my D.L. test. The guy just apologized to me and wished me good luck. Went back home and everyone thought I got a fake ID. :D
