will a 4.0HO bolt onto a puegot?

I got a 4.0HO after I recently blew my 4.2, I'm pretty sure it'll bolt right to the puegot but has anybody tried? I have the starters from the 4.0 and my old 4.2... which do I need to use? cuz maybe they're different sizes. I heard somewhere that in 89, the 4.2's came with puegots, then they switched to the AX-15 with the 4.2.

also a quick question.... a 4.0HO is rated at 190hp. How much do u think it should be pushing with a header and a thrush glasspack?

If it were mine, I would s***can the puke-it tranny and go with either an AX-15, or an NV3500/4500 behind that HO engine. It was the best thign I ever did for my 88 Chief non-HO motor, adn I have the benefit of a 5.34 First gear and I stil have my .76 overdrive gear as well. It and the NVG231 transfer case were well worththe money I shelled out for them, as I can now pull my car dolly nicely down the road without straining my driveline one bit:D

I know I should switch, but my financial situation doesn't allow that unless there are no other options. so will it bolt up or not?
