I dont, because to me..they are just asking to get beat up and look like crap anyways.
Just wondering if any of you all prefer the caps, if not di you just paint the middle or what?
I would like to find something flat to fit over it, kina like a flat center cap :D Anybody know of anything like that?

My 15x7 factory alloys only have the small plastic cap that covers the center.
The AR Gamblers I had on my '97 TJ used a small center cap that I thought wasn't to imposing in size compared to most other wheel maker's caps.

All personal preference...:)
I'm still running the stock 15x7s, but if (when;)) I go with different wheels I plan on using the center caps. I think it looks better and gives a cleaner appearance...sorry, I do care about how my Jeep looks - guess it just carries over from my other hobby ('71 Ford Ranchero - show/street/strip).

I am planning to go to 767s, and I would like to find a "low profile" center cap liek the stock aluminum wheels. The bullit type ones stick out too far.
I use the Alcoa center caps that came with my Mickey Thompson Challenger wheels. They have an "O"-ring seal to keep the mud out, and look good (at least so far). But as said before, this is really a personal preference item.

I use the Mangels stainless steel center caps with my chrome wheels, because it looks kinda strange if the rusty hub can be seen in the center of a chrome wheel:

Got Hellcats. Yes. I have the center caps installed. But these are fairly protected and bolt on securely.
If I had manual hubs in the front, I'd think twice, though.

I like the centercaps. I like chrome, too. So sue me!! :D
I guess I was a little concerned bashing up the center caps, but then I saw that the AR centercaps can be replaced for 7 or 8 bucks, or so...

I have the centre caps on my AR's. They stick out pretty far but they are metal and have to be pushed through the back so you can't knock them off. Last night I saw a dodge truck that had the centre caps painted black as well and it looked pretty good.

I have got center caps on the YJ and plan on center caps on the other YJ when I get new wheels. I will have to see what it looks like. With the chrome ones on the Red one, center caps finish out the package. But I am getting 767's for Warlock, and I am unsure if chrome would look right.

I use them. I figure I spent the money on the wheels, might as well make it look complete, even if the caps are chrome. If they get whacked, I'll just throw on a spare (even bought a couple of extras).

My 767's came with them as well, but I painted the drum instead. Looks nicer to me...and besides, I would've lost the caps in a war with the rocks. :)

It may be time for me to dump the chrome-looking caps that came with my American Eagle wheels. They're all bashed to heck by the rocks, maybe they have some flat black caps instead. Then again, all the crinkles and dents in my caps do add a bit of character, maybe I'll just keep them.:D

Has anybody tried using the center caps from the stock 15x7 steel wheels on AR-767's? I figure all you would have to do is drill a few holes to attach the caps. Is there something I am missing?

I was going to get some, for my 767s. But, after looking at other Jeeps that weren't using the caps, I decided I liked that look, better.
