Well, how much travel do I need? I ramped it on a 30* ramp last week. I had street pressure in my tires and I stopped at 730. I imagine I could have gone a bit further if I really tried to milk it, but I thought 730 on a 30* ramp is pretty darn good.

There is such a thing as too much flex. At 13" over stock, I don't want too much. :eek: I'm happy where it's at, and with 38.5's, with score of 730...........I'm very pleased.

It seems to me that ZJ's go for more on flex. On the ZJ board a guy has ramped 934 front and 940 rear with 1.8" of lift.

Make sure you're comparing apples to apples. If he's ramping on a 30* ramp at a 940 in a 1.8" lifted ZJ, I want pics. If he's on a 20* or a 23* ramp, I'm not impressed. On a 20* ramp, my TJ will ramp around 1300 or so.

I just know he scored a 904 RTI with 1.8" of lift. To me that is impressive. I mean he is 10.2" of lift less then you.

I don't want to sound like I am not impressed with your rig or TJ's for that matter. Just was wondering if the size of your Jeep being 13" gives up any flexing. Like the higher you go the percentage of flex to how high you sit is less. Or maybe it is the tire size.

Like I said before difinalty thumbs up on your Jeep.

I see your point. It's all good. I'm not sure if it's lift or tire, but when I had my 3T and 33's, I ramped 1312 on a 20* ramp. There really needs to be a "norm" on RTI. I think that the 30* is now becomming the standard. There are still some shops that use 20 and 23* ramps, but they give a deceiving score. I'll see if I can find the calculation on changing the score from ramp to ramp.

Having seen a ZJ on the 30* ramp last week, with his 31's, he only scored in the low 500's. I'm not going to believe a ZJ with that small of a lift would get 940.

Here's a pic of Rand Ridges CJ 8 (comparitive wheelbase to a ZJ) and he scored in the high 800's or low 900's. He's running a lot more than 1.8" of lift.

I'm not saying that this ZJ is lying about his ramp score, but put him on a level playing field with the rest of us. ;)

Those are some sweet pics. Ya I did not see him do it so I was thinking he was full of caca. But I will send him a link to this and see if he has anything to say. I am sure you have already seen my ZJ. It has stock controll arms but still does pretty well.
