700r4 transmition

Can this transmition be mated to a dana300 transfer case. I have the chyrsler 999 now but i'd like the advantages of overdrive. Any input would be great

Yes, it can be mated to the D300. My friend has one in his '85 CJ. He has a Chevy 350 in his but I imagine that it could be mated to other engines.

(edit: the 700R4 is longer than the Jeep transmission so you have to move the transfer case back and redo the driveshafts and the shifter for the transfer case.)
