Soft Door Mirror Mount Solutions?

I'm putting on soft doors, so I'll be mounting my stock TJ mirrors on those windshield brackets. My buddy has them and has said that he can't even see the passenger-side mirror.

Does anyone have a good solution for the passenger side mirror being located too far forward for the driver to use?

What about mounting CJ mirrors with longer stems? Any good way to mount those to a TJ with soft doors?

They look like they'll shake, but at least I'll be able to see *something* in the passenger mirror.
