Does the harmonic balancer stay on w/ 4 to 1 conversion?

This is on an 01' TJ.

BJOTF if you read this. How come you have a fog light switch by the defrost and wiper controls? I thought you had an 01 and the foglight switch was moved the turn signal stalk along w/ the head lights. I caught this on your website w/ the arb switch picture. Where, and how much, did you get the new factory panel to replace the ashtray?

The Harmonic Balancer can be left on when doing a TeraLow 4:1....The Tera unit comes as a complete front case half that replaces the stock unit...separating the front and rear halves is not a problem ....but when you pull the back out the shift fork/rail main shaft all have to come out together.

I would suggest you remover the entire case , and have an extra set of hands to help you out.

...As for the switches, the pic I used is not my own, I got it from dh-king on JU...Tony made the panel by purchasing the identical stock unit and mounting it place of the ashtray using the write-up Harry did on his site as a guideline.

I have not done mine yet ...still installing my other electronics ....stereo equip, CB, 2Metre Radio ...etc. My Switch panel and front ARB Locker will go in within a month or two.

BTW....I already removed the stock switch bank and the blank location on my 01' TJ can be knocked out and a secondary foglamp switch will be mounted there when I add more lights ;)
